I don't remember exactly when I got them but it was somewhere in 2000. I was looking at the time for a kitten but a woman at work had two *old* cats to give. Not exactly what I was planning but it appeared to be a good idea after all.

They were 8 years old, fixed no claws and didn’t need to be educated. She was ready to give me also all their accessories. Seemed like a good deal. I got “full equipped” cats for free !

Both are born March 1994 and it's funny because I’m born in March too.

People are very impressed when they meet them for the first time. Caramel and Miquette are not the kind of cats who enjoy to be left alone all the time. They are very affectionate and kind. They like people. Especially Miquette who enjoys sitting with us at the table.

Caramel likes sleeping under the blankets of the bed. He’s like a little boy !

I’m very happy to have them in my life. They bring me a lot of enjoyment. Cats like this are rare. I consider myself very lucky.
